Featuring the music of Louise Bennett, Alton Ellis, Jimmy Cliff, The Skatalites, Bob Marley and more, take a musical journey from its origins in African traditions and Mento of the 1950s to the global rise of Classic Reggae in the 1980s. An evening captured best by the words of Bob Marley: “When the music hits you, you feel no pain.”
