Marie-Antoinette Kanyinda

Marie-Antoinette Kanyinda is a vocalist, songwriter, and youth educator from Brampton. She began singing at seven and later received private vocal training before completing four years as a vocal major in St. Roch’s Regional Arts Program. Specializing in R&B and pop, her experience also spans choral, vocal jazz, contemporary music, songwriting, and live performance across Brampton, Toronto, and Chicago.

Marie-Antoinette has experience teaching voice and beginner piano, directing an elementary school choir, and supporting youth through creative arts programming. She believes music is more than performance; it can be a release, a language, and a space for people to explore who they are. Her teaching style is patient and encouraging, balancing healthy technique with creativity and self-expression. She aims to meet students where they are, help them grow confidently, and show them that music can remain a meaningful part of their lives whether or not they choose to pursue it professionally.
